Interesting Blog

This blog has been put together by two (three) University of Maryland graduate students who are interested in cataloging new tools online. They showed up at MITH’s digital dialog yesterday on Google Scholar. It was interesting. As the blog notes (I’d trackback here but they have no trackback), we showed the Googlezon or Epic clip that was so popular a few months ago. The conversation was interesting although slow in the uptake. First, it seemed most people wanted to either lament or praise Google’s efforts. We finally–at the very end, of course–got into the nitty-gritty of the matter. What do we do, as citizens and scholars, to ensure that both these large corporate entities and we work/create responsibly with these tools? More talking points and questions here.
