Text Analysis Summit

The Text Analysis Summit at McMaster has been great so far. I’ve put a lot of faces to names, got a great t-shirt, lost the great t-shirt, had the great t-shirt returned and have had bucos of interesting conversations.
The Test Analysis Developer’s Alliance blog will go into the details and will highlight responses from the participants.
It may perhaps be a “Summit” that inspires more questions than smoothes out accords, but the questions (and the scones) are engaging:
What tools do Scholars currently use?
To what extent are we trying to (do we have to) relate to the humanists down the hall?
What kind of tools promote tool inoperability?
How do we promote more relationships with developers?
What does XML add to the study of literature?
What are commonalities for literary research?
What is anomalous in a text?
